We provide comfort and stress relief to families in Kittitas County living with cancer.
Our Mission
When one family member has cancer, everyone in the household becomes affected by that struggle. Besides medical expenses, cancer is costly in many ways. Families need transportation, meals out, car maintenance and a host of other expenses. The Gretchen Weller Foundation helps to bridge some of these gaps to help our friends and neighbors in Kittitas County facing a cancer diagnosis.
Our Impact
"When I was diagnosed four years ago, cancer entered the lives of not only my four-year-old, two-year-old and fourteen-month-old kids, but also into the lives of extended friends and family. It could have paralyzed us all...but all of us deserved better. Cancer wasn’t going to steal our hope and joy. This foundation was created to walk alongside our community to help keep, and in some places restore, that hope and joy.
Our practical ways of helping are possible with nights like our October fundraiser...a great honor to be a part of. It takes a village to raise a child and it takes a community to fight this battle with cancer."

Years Serving Kittitas County
Starting in 2016, we continue to find new ways to reach families facing cancer through networking in our community. Every person referred to us receives GWF funds. The reception has been outstanding- local donations staying with Kittitas County families.

To date we’ve reached 289 families facing a cancer diagnosis. Whether it’s a gas card to ease the burden of increased travel for treatment, or a spa treatment, house cleaning, lawn mowing, or tickets to a special event, our goal is to help a family by providing comfort and stress relief.
